Philosophy and Background
The idea behind this system was born during long years of working with golfers as well as having a different professional background in my past.
My passion is to recognize strong areas of each player to build up their confidence and rely on these strengths under pressure and when times are not great. This is what defines professionalism. At the same time, it’s crucial to work on the weaknesses so that these do not ruin your body and swing over time. When it comes to golf fitness, I often see it doesn’t work as much as it should simply because there is a lack of belief that it can actually change something in your game. People also think they are “not good enough” for golf fitness. But in reality, everyone can benefit immensely from it.
Having been a professional ballerina in my past provided me with a strong belief that everything can be achieved, if done properly. Ballet can be very demanding but many dancers achieved great physical control of their bodies.
After my ballet career, when I was studying biomechanics, I appreciated the nuances in golf because of my ballet background. These included weight shift, center of mass, breathing etc. because these skills were ingrained at a young age.
I’m currently working in Tommy Fleetwood Academy, Dubai and collaborating with some of the best coaches in the region. It challenges me to give them the best possible support to improve a golfer’s movement skills. And hopefully, these programs can help you as well as they helped many of my students in the past.
